Mr. SEMINEGA Augustus

Vice Chairperson

Mr. Augustus Seminega holds a Bachelor of science degree in Economics and Statistics from Makerere University, Uganda ; a Post Graduate Diploma in purchasing Management and a Technical Certificate.

He is a former Director General of Rwanda Public Procurement Authority, RPPA (2006-2020). Before that, he had served under different capacities, including : Director of Administration and Finance and later Director General of the Common Development Fund, CDF) (now LODA, 2002-2006), Director of Branch Network at Union des Banques Populaires du Rwanda, UBPR (Now BPR), Director of Cooperatives in the Ministry of Youth and Cooperatives and later Ministry of Commerce, Volunteer Social Mobiliser and a Teacher.
Mr. Augustus Seminega has extensive experience in Public Administration in general and more particularly in public financial management including public procurement, financial reporting ; and human resource management. He contributed to the reform of the public procurement system in Rwanda into a transparent, fair and efficient system. His other areas of experience are cooperatives, microfinance and teaching.
