IPAR Rwanda represented by its Executive Director of IPAR-Rwanda, Eugenie Kayitesi attended the meeting of the Strategy Group of the African Union Network of Think Tanks for Peace (NeTT4Peace) held at Marriott Hotel, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 1 – 2 December 2023.
The meeting aimed to review one year of NeTT4Peace existence, fine-tune the operational mechanisms of the Network and adopt a work plan for 2024 based on the priorities to be set by the Department of Political Affairs, Peace and Security of African Union.
The Executive Strategy meeting concluded on 2nd December 2023 with tangible actions on the critical areas to be worked on by Think tanks in 2024. Discussions further centered around funding options and Giz takes the lead in funding Nett4peace 2024

It became fully functional in 2008 with the support of the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) with initial start up support from the Government of Rwanda.
