IPAR-Rwanda was invited to present and give feedback on Imihigo evaluation in a high level meeting that brought together all Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Governors, Mayors and Director Generals of the public entities on 21st October, 2016. The presentation that focused on the drivers and barriers on imihigo performance was made by the IPAR team represented by Prof. Alfred R. Bizoza, the Director of Research.
Similarly, Paul Kayira and Michael Munyaneza (IPAR Staff) presented and gave feedback on Imihigo during district council retreats of Ruhango and Kayonza to review areas of weakness and improve performance. The retreats were attended by a cross section of participants from cabinet ministers designated in the district, Senators and members of parliament, local representatives and leaders. These retreats were held on 8th and 22nd October 2016 respectively.
