IPAR-Rwanda has signed a partnership agreement with ActionAid Rwanda paving the way for both organizations to collaborate in the areas of research, policy analysis and evaluation.
Under the same agreement, IPAR Rwanda has been commissioned by ActionAid Rwanda to conduct a study analyzing the existing legislative and policy frameworks for ending violence against women and girls in the work place and find gaps both in informal and formal sectors.
The purpose of the study is to find out the level of awareness of workers and implementation of existing laws and policies for ending violence against women and girls and its implementation at work place both in informal and formal sectors. This will help to generate credible evidence of how the existing legislations and polices on violence against women and girls (VAWG) in the work place are known and are being implemented towards ending violence.
