Thursday April 29, 2010 at Laico Hotel, Kacyiru-Kigali the Institute of Policy Analysis and Research (IPAR) officially presented findings of two research projects titled: “Root Causes of Poor Customer Service—case of the financial Sector” and “Assessing the Taxation of SMEs in Rwanda”. The event was well attended by policy makers, among other key stakeholders.
Presiding at the event the IPAR Board member, Dr. Mark Cyubahiro Bagabe expressed confidence in IPAR’s work and urged institutions to adapt recommendations put forth in both research projects to become better service providers.
The Executive Director of IPAR Antonia Mutoro said the two research topics are inline with one of the institute’s research agenda theme:  “Developing a Thriving Private Sector for Rwanda”.
IPAR has developed a toolkit containing elements that institutions can adapt to improve customer service delivery.
